Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Thesis Capital (“Thesis Capital,” “LegacyVector,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit legacyvector.com, subscribe to our newsletter, use our tools, or purchase a subscription (together, the “Service”). It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

Information you provide. Your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter (via Beehiiv) or contact us; your email, name, and billing details when you purchase a subscription (collected and processed by Stripe on our behalf — we do not receive or store your full card number); and any information you submit through forms on the site (for example, the sponsorship inquiry form).

Information collected automatically. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 4 below.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including billing and account provisioning;
• To send the newsletter and respond to inquiries;
• To understand how the Service is used and to measure and improve site performance (analytics);
• To advertise the Service and measure the effectiveness of our advertising, as described below; and
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues, and to comply with legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: (a) essential site functionality, (b) analytics, and (c) advertising. A cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit; you can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom corner of the site.

How consent controls tracking.We run Google Tag Manager, which by default is set to deny analytics and advertising cookies (Google Consent Mode v2) until you click “Accept.” Advertising and analytics tags — including Google Analytics and Google Ads, and, once live, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and X (Twitter) Pixel — are configured to fire only after you accept cookies. If you decline, only cookies strictly necessary to operate the site are used.

Advertising and data sharing. We advertise LegacyVector on Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X. When advertising cookies are active, these platforms may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device, and we may share limited information with them — such as a hashed version of your email address and on-site activity (for example, pages visited or a completed sign-up) — to measure ad performance and to show you or similar users relevant ads on their platforms (sometimes called conversion tracking, custom or lookalike audiences, or retargeting). Each platform is a separate data controller for its own use of this information; their practices are described in their own privacy policies (linked in Section 9).

We share information with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Beehiiv (newsletter), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (application data), and Google (analytics, tag management);
• Advertising platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, X) as described in Section 4, when advertising cookies are active;
• Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Thesis Capital, our users, or others; and
• Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

California (CCPA/CPRA).If you are a California resident, sharing information with advertising platforms for targeted advertising as described in Section 4 may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. Declining cookies via the cookie banner opts you out of this sharing. You also have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.

EEA/UK (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we rely on your consent (such as for advertising cookies), you may withdraw it at any time via the cookie preferences control without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date above.
